Itinerary
Day 1 — Algonquin Park
Arrival at Algonquin Provincial Park, Independent arrival at the starting point, at Voyageur Quest, by 12.15 pm, in the north-west corner of the park, where the experience will also take place.
After registration, packed lunch at Canoe Outpost. Load the canoes with everything you need for the trip and set off for the first stage. Along the way, you will be taught how to paddle and ‘transport’ the canoe from one lake to another, and you can even take a refreshing swim if you wish. The camp will be set up in a particularly scenic spot and dinner will be prepared over a fire under the stars. Overnight stay in tents.,
Day 2 — Algonquin Park
After a hearty breakfast, we break camp and continue eastwards, passing a series of lakes, the number of which is one of the distinctive features of this park. Lunch, eaten in the canoe, will give you the energy to cross the ponds created along the shores of the lakes, rich in wildlife. With a little luck, you may see beavers or the famous Canadian moose (the best time for sightings is late June to early July). In the afternoon, we will set up camp on the shores of a beautiful lake where you will have the opportunity to go for walks to explore the area, take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters or simply relax and rest after your “efforts”. For dinner, always cooked outdoors, you will be served “bannock”, a type of bread used by North American natives and cooked over a fire. After dinner, around the fire, you will listen to local stories and legends.
Overnight stay in a tent,
