Abstract
Immersing yourself in the wilderness of Algonquin Provincial Park is an unforgettable experience: crystal-clear waters gently lap against rocks that are billions of years old, surrounded by miles of towering trees.
Algonquin Provincial Park, which includes the rugged stretch of land between Georgian Bay to the west and the Ottawa River to the east, became a provincial park in 1893 in order to preserve and protect the natural forest, its flora and fauna, and its ecosystems. The park’s more than 2,000 lakes are traditionally explored by canoe; thousands of kilometers of canoe routes connect lakes, rivers, portages, and shoreline campsites.,
