Auberge de Montagne des Chic-Chocs is an exclusive mountain lodge located in the heart of the Réserve faunique de Matane, in the Gaspésie region (Québec). It sits at about 615 meters of elevation, in a completely wild and sparsely developed area, surrounded by mountains, forests, and a vast protected natural reserve.The property is designed as an “all-inclusive” retreat immersed in nature: it has only 18 rooms, all comfortable and equipped with a private bathroom, and offers an intimate, relaxed atmosphere—without television, telephone, or internet connection—to encourage a complete disconnect and direct contact with the natural environment.The stay generally includes all meals, prepared with refined cooking and served on site, as well as snacks and convivial moments. Activities are guided and change depending on the season: in summer, hiking, trekking, kayaking, mountain biking, and wildlife watching. At 3:00 PM, transfer from the registration point to the lodge by the supplier’s vehicle (if the 2:00 PM transfer is fully booked, the following morning transfer will be reserved at 10:30 AM; departure will be from Sainte-Anne-des-Monts with arrival at the lodge at noon.
