Day 3 — Kennebunkport → Camden
The first stop today is Old Orchard Beach. Here you will find 11 km of sandy beach and the Old Orchard Beach Pier, which extends over 150 meters into the Atlantic Ocean. Continue north to the historic seaside town of Portland, with its quirky galleries, unique shops, special restaurants, and numerous lighthouses (there are six within a 30-minute drive from the city, one of which, the Portland Head Light, is among the most photographed in the United States). Here, take some time to explore the Arts District and the historic Old Port neighborhood. Continuing along the mid-coast of Maine, past picturesque New England cottages and tranquil coves, be sure to stop at the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse in Bristol. The lighthouse is very beautiful and the unique rock formations surrounding the structure make it the ideal subject for a photograph. Rockland, known as the "gateway to Penobscot Bay," is a classic harbor town, full of galleries, craft shops, excellent restaurants, and the Maine Lighthouse Museum, with its sought-after collection. The last stop of the day is Camden, the place where "the mountains meet the sea." A temple of gastronomy, Camden boasts charming alleyways, huge sailboats, and local art galleries: this is the right place to spend the night.,
