Itinerary
Day 1 — Anchorage
Reach Anchorage by air or by water. In one of the northernmost cities in the world, don't miss the opportunity to explore the numerous museums, restaurants, boutiques, and unique shops. Remember to visit the Alaska Aviation Museum and don't miss the spectacular view you can admire while dining at the Crow's Nest on top of The Hotel Captain Cook.,
Day 2 — Anchorage
On the second day, you will discover the fauna and glaciers. You can participate in one of the many available tours, which can last from 2.5 to 8 hours. Customize your day to include a visit to Portage Glacier, Mount Alyeska, or the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. With a cruise through Portage Lake, you will have the opportunity to admire the glaciers and listen to the guides' stories about the plants and animals of Portage Valley. Then, take a tram to the top of Mount Alyeska to admire Turnagain Bay from Cook Inlet and the numerous alpine glaciers. If you decide to visit the wildlife center, you will have the chance to see wolves, moose, and grizzly bears.,
Flight
Day 3 — Anchorage → Kodiak
Start your day by visiting the Alaska Native Heritage Center to see some dwellings and a presentation of the 11 main cultural groups in the state. The more adventurous can take the 2.4 km trail and hike to the top of Flattop Mountain at 1,070 m. In the afternoon, after a 45-minute flight from Anchorage, you will reach Kodiak Island for overnight stay.,

Day 4 — Kodiak → Anchorage
On Kodiak Island, take advantage of a guided tourist excursion or a boat tour to admire some of the 3,000 bears that live on the island. Alternatively, you can rent a car and explore the island on your own. The island, the second largest in the United States after Hawaii, is one of the most adventurous destinations in the country. To return to Anchorage, take an evening flight.,

Day 5 — Anchorage → Denali
Leave Anchorage and board the Denali Star Train, a scenic train that will take you to Denali National Park. Why not book a carriage with a transparent ceiling to enjoy the panorama even more? Your journey will take you north through Talkeetna, with spectacular views of Mount McKinley and the natural landscape of Alaska along the way. Alternatively, you can choose the Park Connection Motorcoach, a daily bus service that will allow you to reach your destination more quickly. Many people choose to use the train for the outbound journey and the bus for the return, or vice versa, to admire different landscapes. Another option is air service, which can take you from Anchorage to Denali.,
Day 6 — Denali
Take advantage of a full day to explore the Denali area. Covering over 2 million hectares, this wild and remote natural environment is home to the highest peak in North America, as well as alpine forests, tundra, and glaciers. Bus tours allow you to travel through the park along the 148 km long Denali Park Road. Tours last from 4.5 to 13 hours and advance booking is required. You can choose from various nature and wildlife tours, or the Kantishna Tour, which takes you to a historic gold mining town. In Denali, there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities: start from the visitor center or Savage River for your hikes, take advantage of a guided hike or program led by a ranger, go rafting on the Nenana River, try mountain biking, or visit the Denali sled dog kennels for a demonstration.,

Day 7 — Denali → Anchorage
Return to Anchorage by bus, train, or airplane and take advantage of the afternoon and evening to discover the city's shops, monuments, crafts, museums, and restaurants.,
