Day 1 — Mombasa

Day 2 — Mombasa → Taita Hills
Breakfast, early morning departure to, I arrive at the lodge for lunch., Taita Hills Sanctuary is a private reserve located in the Taita-Taveta region in south-eastern Kenya. This fascinating protected area covers approximately 28,000 acres (about 11,300 hectares) and provides a valuable habitat for local wildlife. The reserve is characterised by varied topography, including hills, valleys, gorges and open plains. It is particularly known for its breathtaking scenery, with vast expanses of green grasslands, lush forests and rushing waterways criss-crossing the territory. Day 3 — Taita Hills → Riserva Ngutuni
Breakfast, departure to, game drive en route, I arrive at the lodge for lunch., afternoon game drive in the park, Tsavo East, in south-eastern Kenya, is characterised by vast savannah plains crossed by the Galana River, formed by the confluence of the Tsavo and Athi rivers. The park is home to a rich variety of African wildlife, including elephants, lions and giraffes. The most significant feature is the 190 km long Yatta Plateau, the largest lava field in the world, created by the activity of the Ol Doinyo Sabuk volcano, which gives the landscape a unique and spectacular appearance., I return to the reserve for the night safari., Ngutuni Reserve is a small private reserve located within Tsavo East. Famous thanks to the movie "The Ghost and the Darkness" starring Michael Douglas, it is dedicated to very demanding travelers as it offers the possibility to go on night safaris and off-road excursions. PRE-NIGHT: included in Mombasa (mandatory) with overnight stay and breakfast., VISA: As of January 1, 2024, a visa will no longer be required for Kenya; however, travelers must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before starting their trip by registering on the website www.etakenya.go.ke at a cost of $34 per person. Those who already hold a visa issued under the previous system will not need to register again: the visas already granted will remain valid in 2024.

Starting from June 2020, in the protected areas of Kenya - national parks, beaches, wildlife reserves, and forests - the use of single-use plastic items and packaging will be prohibited., VACCINATIONS: No vaccination certificate is required for tourists coming directly from Europe. For those coming from areas where yellow fever is endemic (e.g. Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Zambia, Mozambique, etc.), it is mandatory to present a Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate upon entry, even in the case of airport transit only, if it exceeds 12 hours and in any case if leaving the airport.
