A city primarily dedicated to business, Tampa has several attractions even for those who visit for more recreational purposes. There are two main areas: the Riverwalk, the city's green area, where you can find the beautiful Florida Aquarium, museums, galleries, and local establishments; and Ybor City, a neighborhood that keeps alive its Spanish heritage from the past and Cuban influence today. Ybor City was established in the 19th century and is characterized by cobblestone streets, brick houses with wrought-iron balconies, ethnic food restaurants, and cigar shops.

Day 2 — Tampa → Sarasota
In front of Sarasota, a string of barrier islands with incredibly white beaches stretches for tens of kilometers. The city is not lacking in non-marine attractions, such as the aquarium, the spectacular museum founded by magnate John Ringling and rich in world-renowned artworks, the unique Circus Museum, and the Ca' d'Zan, a residence in Venetian Gothic style. For shopping, there is the large St Armands Circle mall.

Day 3 — Sarasota → Clearwater Beach
A single, long, beautiful 45 km beach connects Clearwater and St Pete Beach. There are opportunities to relax on the beach, go shopping, and enjoy the ocean sunset from Pier 61.

Day 4 — Clearwater Beach → Crystal River
Crystal River, a source of surprisingly clear turquoise waters, is the gem of the so-called Nature Coast. During the colder months (from November to March), dozens of manatees hibernate in the crystal-clear waters of Three Sisters Spring and King's Bay, creating an impressive spectacle. Visitors can observe them through boat or kayak excursions and even swim with them, accompanied by experienced instructors.

Day 5 — Crystal River → Wakulla Springs
Wakulla Springs State Park is both a nature reserve, offering the opportunity to observe wildlife such as manatees, alligators, and birdwatching, and a National Historic Place, awarded to the lodge of the same name commissioned by finance magnate Edward Ball in 1937, where it is still possible to stay today.

Day 6 — Wakulla Springs → Panama City Beach
Panama City is known for the many marine activities it has to offer, including snorkeling at Shell Island and diving among the shipwrecks and beautiful coral reefs of St. Andrews State Park. Florida Scenic Highway 30A runs west from Panama City Beach, a stretch of the so-called Emerald Coast about 25/30 km long, featuring a succession of white sand dunes, emerald waters, unspoiled nature, and chic, well-kept seaside communities.

Day 7 — Panama City Beach → Pensacola Beach
Pensacola is located in Florida, but only 30 minutes from the Alabama border. It directly faces the Gulf of Mexico and is famous for the US Navy base, as well as its magnificent white beaches and emerald-colored waters.
