The best period for boat navigation is from April to November. Local boats are very simple and equipped with life jackets. In case the island of Komodo decides to apply an entrance fee of USD 1,000, the visit to Komodo will be replaced with an alternative island. Protect yourself from the sun with a good sunscreen and/or hat and bring mosquito repellent with you.
