The quintessential Aussie city, Sydney with its surroundings is truly a world in itself and the only city in Australia to show its two hundred years of European history in the old stone walls of The Rocks. A unique city that lives beyond its sparkling harbour and beaches, and shows its true soul in the diverse neighbourhoods, with a sophisticated cosmopolitan population, but also the largest Aboriginal community of any Australian city

Day 4 — Sydney → Uluru / Ayers Rock
Flight to Uluru / Ayers Rock. We recommend the visit/excursion. Enchanting artistic installation in the Red Center desert. Approximately 50,000 stems light up after sunset for about a kilometer, with the silhouette of Uluru in the background, creating enchanting atmospheres. Designed by English artist Bruce Munro, it is powered exclusively by solar energy, thanks to approximately 3,290km of optical fibers. There are several opportunities to admire it: at sunset with an aperitif, with dinner, or at dawn. Advance booking is required.
Day 5 — Uluru / Ayers Rock
Uluru–Kata Tjuta National Park includes Uluru and Kata Tjuta (once respectively known as Ayers Rock and the Olgas), a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Uluru/Ayers Rock is arguably one of the world's natural wonders; Kata Tjuta is just as magical, a groupof rounded domes divided by narrow valleys Day available for mandatory excursions: sunset at Uluru or Kata Tjuta, dinner under the stars, a visit to the cultural center, and much more.
There are still many things to discover... the spectacular sunrise, a tour around the base of the monolith, a scenic helicopter flight, a Segway ride, and getting lost under a blanket of stars. The choice is yours...

Day 6 — Uluru / Ayers Rock → Cairns
Flight to Cairns. Cairns is a pleasant and relaxing tropical town, the perfect starting point for unmissable excursions. From here, you can visit the oldest rainforest in the tropical area, Daintree, a World Heritage Site, or reach the iconic Great Barrier Reef and its islands.
Alternatively, you can relax by the pool of a resort and wander around the main trendy bars and restaurants.
Day 7 — Cairns
Free day. We recommend the visit/excursion. A couple of hours north of Cairns, in Daintree and Cape Tribulation, civilization disappears and gives way to the oldest rainforest in the world, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After passing Port Douglas, the road runs along beautiful deserted beaches; already in Mossman, you enter the Daintree rainforest, rich in strangler figs, prehistoric palms, tree ferns, and other exotic plants. Don't miss the Cape Tribulation beach, the place where the forest meets the ocean.
Day 8 — Cairns
Free day. We recommend the visit/excursion. With an extension of over 2,300 km along the eastern coast of Australia, the Great Barrier Reef offers an abundance of unique experiences in the world. Swim among the splendid coral formations, giant clams, rare whale species, and six of the seven species of marine turtles in the world. Not to mention the over 1,600 species of fish that populate this aquatic paradise. Whether you have a passion for scuba diving in the depths of the ocean or prefer to bask in the sun on the soft sand of an island.
Day 9 — Cairns
Free day. We recommend the visit/excursion. Known as the village in the rainforest, Kuranda boasts a vibrant artistic and craft tradition. Not to be missed: admire the treetops from the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, take a ride on the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway, which connects Cairns to Kuranda, hold a koala at the Kuranda Koala Gardens, and go shopping at the craft markets.
