San Francisco - Hawaii - Cook Islands - Los Angeles — NAAR
Itinerary
Giorno 1 — San Francisco
San Francisco is unmistakable for its streets that wind up and down its seven hills with roller coaster-like slopes, and for its scenic bridges that connect it to the mainland, first and foremost the Golden Gate. Fascinating and unique, it has an undisputed reputation as a liberal and cultured city in an often very conservative America.
Giorno 2 — San Francisco
Free day. We recommend the visit/excursion. Hop on one of the famous trams and head towards Fisherman's Wharf to taste the local fish or crab soup and the exquisite Ghirardelli chocolate. Take a peek at the sea lions basking in the sun and admire from afar the island with the former Alcatraz penitentiary.
Giorno 3 — San Francisco
Free day. Other recommended visits/excursions: Passeggiata sul Golden Gate Bridge

Giorno 4 — San Francisco → Honolulu
Flight to Honolulu. It is called Honolulu, but in reality we are talking about Waikiki, one of the most famous beaches in the world. The beach is bordered to the south by the Diamond Head promontory; it is worth driving up to the top of the crater of this extinct volcano for a beautiful panoramic view. The calm sea is ideal for surf lessons, where else? But there is more than just the beach. The aquarium is a destination for families; boutiques, restaurants line Kalakaua and Kuhio Avenue, in the Royal Hawaiian Center, at Waikiki Beach Walk, in the International Market Place and in the huge Ala Moana Shopping Center. After sunset, the nightlife begins with live music in many clubs. Less than half an hour's drive from Waikiki are Pearl Harbor, the Nuulani Pali Lookout viewpoint, and the beautiful Hanauma Bay in a semi-submerged crater. The superb beaches on the windward coast are not to be missed, especially Kailua, Waimanalo, and Lanikai. Following the Pali Highway, you leave the skyscrapers behind and enter another world, with some of the most spectacular views in the archipelago. In the distance, you will see the islet of Mokolii, nicknamed "the Chinese hat," on the turquoise sea. On the other side of the road is Kualoa Ranch, the valley that has served as a backdrop for famous films and TV series such as "Jurassic Park" and "Lost." From here, the road climbs up to the north coast, with some of the world's most famous surfing beaches. But even if you are not a surfer, do not miss the beautiful Waimea beach in the summer months.
