Day 1 — Melbourne
Arrival and independent transfer to the hotel, Melbourne is Australia’s second largest city after Sydney – of which is the long-standing rival. Unlike its old nemesis, Melbourne cannot boast a stunning location; however its subtle charm and vibrant cultural scene makes it a pleasant place to be. The city is also a foodie heaven, thanks to its multi-ethnic population. Breakfast. Airport transfer with an Italian-speaking guide, flight to Cairns. Welcome upon arrival (in Italian) and transfer to the hotel, accompanied by your guide. Cairns is a pleasant and relaxing tropical town, the perfect starting point for unmissable excursions. From here, you can visit the oldest rainforest in the tropical area, Daintree, a World Heritage Site, or reach the iconic Great Barrier Reef and its islands.

Day 8 — Uluru / Ayers Rock → Sydney
The early rise is well worth it during the scenic drive to the 36 domes of conglomerate rock that forms Kata Tjutas (the Olgas) to experience an amazing sunrise. The 1-hour walk through the sheer walls of Walpa Gorge, following the path between two of the tallest domes to a lush oasis in the desert, won’t disappoint as you’re led into a world of rare plant species and lush evergreen scrubs, local driver/guide in Italian. Flight to, an Italia speaking assistant will meet you upon arrival; transfer to your hotel. The quintessential Aussie city, Sydney with its surroundings is truly a world in itself and the only city in Australia to show its two hundred years of European history in the old stone walls of The Rocks. A unique city that lives beyond its sparkling harbour and beaches, and shows its true soul in the diverse neighbourhoods, with a sophisticated cosmopolitan population, but also the largest Aboriginal community of any Australian city. LUGGAGE: porterage is included for one medium-size baggage (max. 23 kg). Due to limited storage room, we cannot assure you can bring along extra baggage on the coach.
ROOMS: rooms only have one or two beds. “Triple”, “quadruple”, “family” room refers to the number of the guests, who will sleep in the beds provided (max. 2). The possibility of adding a rollaway bed – even if requested at the time of reservation – is subject to availability, with a supplement to be paid on site. Likewise, special requests for double or separate beds; adjoining, high-floor, low-floor rooms etc. are always upon request and these services can never be considered as granted.
DISABLED PEOPLE: disabled travellers can take part to the tour as long as they are self-sufficient. This is because means of transport are not equipped with a wheelchair platform; in addiction, due to insurance and security reasons, neither the guide nor the driver are allowed to help passengers getting on board. Disabled passengers must thus travel with an assistant of their own, to provide them all the help they might need during the tour. All bookings are on request.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: before the start of the tour, all the participants must make sure they possess the required documents to enter the destination countries, and that such documents are comprehensive and valid.
MINIMUM AGE: 12 years old
SMOKING: smoking is prohibited in hotels and on coaches.
HOTEL, CHECK-IN: rooms are usually assigned starting from 3pm. Earlier check-in is at the hotel’s discretion. If you request earlier assignation, you must book an extra night at the beginning of your stay.
HOTEL, CHECK-OUT: rooms must be left in the morning (the exact time will be provided by the hotel). Supplements for late check-outs amount to an extra night's charge
HOTEL, DEPOSIT: at the time of check-in, you will be asked to provide a personal credit card as guarantee for extra expenses. If you are using a company credit card, you must get an authorisation from your company. The hold as guarantee for extra expenses changes according to the category of the hotel. The hold will be unblocked between 3 and 10 days after check-out date; more days might be required if the credit card is linked to a non-American bank. We suggest you bring along at least two credit cards.

Cancellation policies
TIPS: not included – but virtually mandatory, unless service is badly disappointing. Suggested tips: $5-6/day per person for the courier; $4-5/day per person for the driver.

PUNCTUALITY: you are advised to be punctual. No refund is issued to passengers failing to meet at designated time.
REFUNDS: If the tour or any part thereof cannot be conducted due to Force Majeure or Vis Majeure, the Company shall not be responsible to give any refund; also, no refund will be given for any portions of the tour unused by the traveler
HEALTH / VACCINATIONS: Participants must be aware of the itinerary and their own physical ability to handle it; it is recommended to always check the Viaggiare Sicuri website for the latest updates on necessary and recommended vaccinations and prophylaxis.
VISITING AUSTRALIA: European citizens are required to have an electronic tourist visa (ETA or evisitor) to enter Australia. The ETA visa can be obtained online on the website https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/evisitor-651. The visa is free of charge. The passport must have a remaining validity of at least six months.
