The British Empire has long since vanished, but the Zambezi River has not diminished its strength and continues to plummet for a hundred meters (twice the height of Niagara Falls) over a two-kilometer front in the narrow Batoka Gorge. Straddling the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, Victoria Falls are rightly counted among the wonders of the natural world; on a clear day, the veil of foam caused by the fall of nine million liters of water can be seen tens of kilometers away and feeds the rainforest that thrives on the opposite bank. The name given by the indigenous people to the waterfall is precisely linked to the cloud of droplets that hovers over the falls: Mosi-Oa-Tunya - literally the "smoke that thunders"., unscheduled lunch (not included), afternoon at leisure for optional activities, Dinner at leisure, accommodation,
