Day 2 — Uluru / Ayers Rock
Today you will travel from Ayers Rock Resort to Kings Canyon, stopping for breakfast at Kings Creek Station along the way. Once Crown land, this station now raises cattle and is Australia's largest exporter of wild camels. You will learn about the fascinating history of Ian and Lynn Conway and their commitment to Aboriginal children in remote communities in the region.
We will then continue with an unforgettable hike! The steep rocky climb to the edge of Kings Canyon offers spectacular views of Watarrka National Park. Following the path along the edge of the canyon, you can admire the gorge from a series of vantage points. Weather permitting, the guide may lead you to the green oasis of the “Garden of Eden” waterhole.
The hike along the edge of the canyon takes about 3 hours and features steep and rocky sections, so it is recommended for those who are in good physical condition. Those who prefer an easier and shorter option can explore the boulder-strewn valley floor, getting up close to the local flora and fauna.
After lunch (at your own expense), you will return to Ayers Rock.. Accommodation,

You can stroll through the field of 50,000 light spheres at your own pace, while the Desert Oaks seem to emerge from nowhere as the light of dawn begins to rise above the horizon. You can enjoy your tea, coffee or hot chocolate as the sun begins to rise and illuminate the surrounding desert. You will be amazed as the sun appears behind Uluru, flooding the landscape with light.
