Day 1 — Maputo
Arrival at Maputo International Airport and, after customs clearance, meeting with an Italian-speaking guide for a welcome and transfer to the hotel., Maputo (its name in the colonial era was Lourenço Marques) is one of Africa's most charming capitals: a port city famed for its relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere – left over from 400 years under Portuguese rule – its elegant colonial architecture and an amazing setting on a hill overlooking the glittering bay, After check-in, depart with your guide in Italian for a city tour that includes the Fortress, the Central Market, the Railway Station Museum and the FEIMA handicrafts market. Day 2 — Maputo → Nampula

Day 3 — Nampula
Breakfast, full day tour of Ilha De Mozambique, The Ilha de Mozambique is located about 3 km from the mainland, and is about 3.5 km long and 1 km wide. It is located in the province of Nampula, and is separated from the mainland by the Mozambique Channel, which is about 3 km wide at its narrowest point. The island consists mainly of sand, coral and limestone rock, and has tropical vegetation characteristic of oceanic islands.
The name ‘Ilha de Mozambique’ is derived from the Portuguese term for the island of Mozambique, and its historical development is intimately linked to Portuguese colonisation. The island was the capital of Mozambique from 1507 to 1898, before the capital was moved to Maputo. The architecture of Ilha de Mozambique is one of its most fascinating features and testifies to its multicultural history. The oldest part of the island is the City of Stone, which dates back to the colonial period. This district is characterised by stone buildings, many of which were built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. Among the main architectural sights are The Fortress of São Sebastião, The Church of São Paulo and The Governor's Palace. These buildings, along with other historical monuments and structures, have given the island a unique atmosphere, where history is intertwined with everyday life. - LUGGAGE: porterage is included for one medium-size baggage (max. 23 kg). Due to limited storage room, we cannot assure you can bring along extra baggage on the coach.
- TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: before the start of the tour, all the participants must make sure they possess the required documents to enter the destination countries, and that such documents are comprehensive and valid.
- SMOKING: smoking is prohibited in hotels and on coaches.
- HOTEL, CHECK-OUT: rooms must be left in the morning (the exact time will be provided by the hotel). Supplements for late check-outs amount to an extra night's charge
- HOTEL / ITINERARY, CHANGES: The Organizing Body reserves the right to substitute the itinerary and/or the hotels to alternative of a similar or superior category in the event of unplanned circumstances, and if the safe and normal proceeding of the tour is threatened. Passport required for Italian citizens, with a remaining validity of at least six months. It is essential that your passport has at least two blank pages., the tour starts at the airport of Maputo. You must thus book a flight leaving by 14, flight from Maputo to Nampula (not included): book molto presto la mattina at 6am o 7am or molto presto la mattina at 6am o 7am, Visa required, to be requested before departure, at the Embassy of the Republic of Mozambique in Rome for tourism (maximum two entries and 30 days of stay in the country). The visa at the Embassy is mandatory for some airlines to allow boarding, so please verify this with your airline. If you also want to visit neighboring countries with subsequent return to Mozambique, it is suggested to directly request a multiple entry visa from the Embassy of Mozambique in Rome, which allows entry and exit from the country multiple times with a maximum duration of 30 days., Like in the entire Indian Ocean area, the coast and archipelagos of Mozambique are also subject to tides of marked intensity that can affect swimming and beach enjoyment.,
