The journey continues by sea along the spectacular west coast, past islands, villages and mountain vistas to Bergen, with its famous Hanseatic quarter.
From here, the journey continues through fjords and mountains, ascending to Flåm along one of the most spectacular railway routes in the world. After a night immersed in the tranquillity of the fjord, we finally return to Oslo with a final scenic crossing. Day 1 — Oslo
Arrive in the Norwegian capital and settle into your hotel. There are many things to see and do in Oslo, make sure you set aside time to visit all the attractions. The city is rich in ancient and modern culture and also very easy to visit on foot.
If you are a fan of art and culture, don't miss the new Munch Museum, the Ibsen Museum and the Nobel Peace Prize Centre. In the evening, catch a performance at the Oslo Opera House, which is worth a visit if only for its extraordinary architecture. The restaurants near the harbour offer views that rival their delicious cuisine. There are also plenty of other options to keep you active: a trip to the surrounding hills that are within easy reach, a walk along the waterfront, to Vigeland Sculpture Park or Frogner Park, or visit a sauna and swim in the fjord.,

Day 2 — Oslo → Trondheim
Today you will travel by train on the 100-year-old Dovre Line through eastern Norway to Trondheim. The 485 km journey from Oslo to Trondheim takes about 6 hours and 30 minutes. You will travel along the shores of sparkling Mjøsa, the largest lake in largest lake in Norway, passing Lillehammer, site of the 1994 Winter Olympics and the famous Wood Hotel, the world's tallest wooden building.
The route continues to Gudbrandsdalen, the queen of the valleys with its imposing mountains, rivers and forests dotted with traditional villages. You pass the Dovrefjell Plateau, which gives the route its name: a national park that is home to golden eagles and around 300 wild musk oxen, Norway's only population of these magnificent creatures.
Once you arrive in Trondheim, check into your hotel and start discovering this historic place, Norway's oldest city and its technological capital. Founded in 997, it was the Viking capital. Admire the colourful historic buildings that line the Nidelva River from the Old Town Bridge and follow the cobbled streets to Nidaros Cathedral.,

Day 4 — Trondheim → Molde
Your ship from Trondheim to Bergen departs at 09:30. You will travel the last two days of the coastal route of the Fjord Postal, the important link between southern and northern Norway that was opened over 130 years ago. You will be welcomed on board and once you have checked in, you will settle into your cabin, your home for the next 30 hours. It's time to admire the beauty of the Norwegian coastline. You will sail past beautiful islands and admire the mountainous coastline dotted with small communities. In the late afternoon, we will dock at the port of Kristiansund for an hour. Here, you can join one of our optional excursions - a bus tour along the famous Atlantic Road
(not available in winter) or visit the enchanting Bergtatt Marble Mine by ship in Molde. Or you can explore Kristiansund on your own, strolling through the cobbled streets of the old town and reaching the ancient watchtower at the Varden lookout point. As we approach Molde, where we moor for 30 minutes, you can admire the peaks of the Romsdal Alps. If you sail between mid-June and the end of August, when the flowers are in bloom, you will soon understand why Molde is nicknamed 'The City of Roses'.
During the night, your ship will make a short stop in Ã…lesund and Torvik, but you will probably be sleeping soundly in your cabin. Throughout the voyage sit and watch the coast go by while you sip tea.,

Day 5 — Molde → Bergen
Today offers you beautiful views of the coastline of the Westfjord region as you reach the end of your journey on board the Fjord Postal.
If you get up early enough, you might catch a glimpse of a northbound ship approaching Måløy. In the morning, before docking in Florø for 15 minutes, you can admire the Nordfjord, which lies beneath the huge Jostedal glacier, the largest in continental Europe. Leaving Florø, you will see the Stabben lighthouse, a favourite subject for photographers. You will also enjoy breathtaking views as we cross the mouth of the Sognefjord, Norway's longest and widest fjord. As we sail towards Bergen, your ship will pass the last islands and rocks of our scenic route and sail up the Hjeltefjord to dock in Bergen at 14:45. You now have the whole afternoon and evening to spend in Bergen, Norway's second largest city, which has the charm of a small town whose centre is easy to explore on foot.
Don't miss Bryggen, a UNESCO heritage site, a colourful Hanseatic wharf full of museums, shops, restaurants and galleries, and not far from the sights, sounds and tastes of the Fish Market. You can also ride the Fløibanen funicular up to the top of Mount Fløyen. From there, enjoy the view of Bergen and the coastal landscape below.,

Day 6 — Bergen → Flåm
The day starts early with the departure of the train from Bergen to Voss. Be sure to take a seat near a window to enjoy the breathtaking scenery that changes as you approach the mountains. The train journey takes about an hour and a half and offers spectacular views of the Norwegian fjords and valleys. Once in Voss, take a bus to Gudvangen. The journey takes about an hour and takes you through some of Norway's most spectacular scenery, including narrow mountain passages and panoramic views of the fjords. In Gudvangen, you will have the opportunity to visit the Njardarheimr Viking Village for a dip into Viking culture.
In the afternoon, embark on a cruise from Gudvangen to Flam along the Naeroyfjord, one of the narrowest and most spectacular branches of the Sognefjord and part of the UNESCO World Heritage. The cruise offers incredible views of impressive waterfalls, small villages and steep mountains.
Arriving in Flam, take some time to explore this charming village. Visit the Flam Railway Museum to discover the history of the famous Flamsbana railway, or simply relax while admiring the surrounding landscape.,

Day 7 — Flåm → Oslo
The day begins in Flam, where after a breakfast overlooking the fjord, you will prepare for one of the most spectacular train journeys in the world: the Flåmsbana. This train will take you from Flam to Myrdal, a journey of about an hour that offers breathtaking views of waterfalls, narrow valleys and mountain landscapes. Make sure you have your camera ready to capture the famous Kjosfossen waterfall, where the train stops briefly for passengers to take photos. Once you arrive at Myrdal, a railway station located 866 metres above sea level, you will have some time to admire the surrounding landscape before taking the train to Oslo. Myrdal is mainly an interchange, so the main activity here is train changing.
The train from Myrdal to Oslo takes about 5 hours. During the journey, you will pass through the beautiful Norwegian countryside, moving from mountainous landscapes to lush forests and serene lakes.
