Abstract
Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge is an exclusive luxury eco-lodge set in the most remote wilderness of British Columbia, on the west coast of Vancouver Island, in the heart of Clayoquot Sound. Accessible only by seaplane or boat—and bookable only through packages that include seaplane transfers from Vancouver or boat transfers from Tofino—it offers a refined, spectacular off-grid experience: 25 elegant white-canvas safari tents overlooking ancient forests, fjords, and the ocean, with high-end hotel comforts and a true wilderness-retreat atmosphere.
The lodge is designed for those seeking an authentic connection with nature without giving up comfort: accommodations are spacious, furnished in a Canadian rustic-chic style, with king-size beds, wood-burning stoves, private showers, and panoramic terraces. The heart of the property is “The Outpost,” the central area with a restaurant, lounge, bar, rooftop deck, and shared spaces overlooking the water. Completing the experience are a forest spa, sauna, cedar hot tubs, and treatments inspired by the natural elements of British Columbia.
The Clayoquot experience revolves around adventure and nature: kayaking, whale watching, rainforest hikes, canyoning, horseback riding, fishing, heli-hiking, and wildlife safaris to spot black bears, sea otters, bald eagles, sea lions, and whales in their natural habitat. It’s an ideal destination for those who want an immersive, exclusive, highly scenic stay, with a perfect balance of luxury, privacy, and an adventurous spirit.
From a culinary standpoint, the lodge offers top-level Pacific Northwest–inspired cuisine, featuring local, sustainable, and often foraged ingredients, in an intimate, panoramic setting. The approach is sophisticated yet relaxed, in keeping with the lodge’s style: elegant, natural, and deeply connected to the land. Not by chance, Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge has been awarded Three MICHELIN Keys, one of the highest honors in luxury hospitality.
In summary, Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge, Beckons is one of Canada’s most iconic and scenic experiences: a remote, sophisticated refuge where you can live the Canadian wilderness in an ultra-luxury key, amid adventure, silence, and extraordinary landscapes.,
