Bangkok is ideal for a stopover before or after a tour or a beach stay. The city will test all five senses: skyscrapers and nightlife, boats and rickshaws, saffron-robed monks begging, the gold and tranquility of temples, street food stalls and flashy shopping malls. This is Bangkok, a unique experience!.

Day 3 — Bangkok → Koh Samui
Certainly the most famous island in the Gulf of Thailand, it offers beautiful white and golden sandy beaches, crystal clear and turquoise green waters, and accommodations of all kinds. Numerous hotels, bars, and restaurants are concentrated on Chaweng Beach, making it the liveliest part of the island. The beaches of Bophut, Lamai, Mae Nam, and especially Choeng Mon are excellent alternatives for those who prefer a quieter and more relaxed vacation. There are numerous excursions that can be made to nearby islands and to the Ang Thong National Park. Recommended for a young clientele.
Chaweng Beach offers the clearest waters, although there are sometimes bathing problems in the northern part due to low tide. In the northern part of the small Lamai Beach, the problem of low tide is less relevant and the sea is pleasant, as well as on Mae Nam and Choeng Mon beaches. It is always possible to swim on Bophut Beach, where the waters are green (not transparent) and deep just a few meters from the shore.
The best period is from December to March and from June to September (during this period, there may be afternoon showers).
