Day 1 — Medan
After immigration formalities, passport control, baggage retrieval, and customs, you will be greeted by a local guide and transferred to the hotel., lunch and dinner not included,
Car
Day 2 — Medan → Bukit Lawang
Meet with the local guide and transfer directly to Bukit Lawang via the Kualanamu-Binjai toll road, which will take approximately 3 hours. Arrive in Bukit Lawang around 12 noon and check in at the hotel. At 2 p.m., we will venture into the jungle to begin an excursion to explore the nature of Leuser National Park with its rich flora and fauna. You will be able to spot wild orangutans in their natural habitat and other types of animals such as Thomas leaf monkeys, long-tailed macaques, gibbons, black gibbons and other species of flora and fauna of the tropical rainforest. This excursion will last approximately 3 hours. After the excursion, we will return to the hotel., Dinner at leisure,

Day 3 — Bukit Lawang → Samosir (Toba Lake)
We head towards Lake Toba via Tebing Tinggi and Pematang Siantar, with stops planned at some rubber and oil palm plantations. Upon arrival in Parapat, we cross the island of Samosir by ferry and, once on the island, we check in at the hotel. Overnight stay on the island of Samosir., Dinner at leisure,
Day 4 — Samosir (Toba Lake)
We will set off by car to visit the traditional Batak Toba villages on the island of Samosir: Ambarita: we will see the stone chairs and table, the ancient meeting place of the kings of Siallagan; Simanindo: we will visit the Batak Toba museum; Pangururan: we will admire the panoramic view of Lake Toba and the hot springs; Tomok: we will discover the ancient tombs of the Sidabutar kings. There will be an opportunity to visit the village school (closed on weekends and public holidays) to watch the young people's activities in class, or to visit the villages to observe the local weavers at work. Day 5 — Samosir (Toba Lake)
Transfer from Lake Toba to Medan via Pematang Siantar (4 hours + 1 hour by ferry) with a few stops along the way at interesting places (depending on departure time). Arrival in Medan and transfer to the airport for your flight to your next destination. End of tour.,

ROOMS: Triple rooms are double rooms plus an extra bed, typically smaller than the other two. Triple rooms are subject to availability at the time of reservation. Special requests for smoking, communicating, adjoining, high floor, low floor rooms etc. are always upon request and the service is never to be intended as guaranteed.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: before the start of the tour, all the participants must make sure they possess the required documents to enter the destination countries, and that such documents are comprehensive and valid.

HOTEL, CHECK-IN: rooms are usually assigned starting from 3pm. Earlier check-in is at the hotel’s discretion. If you request earlier assignation, you must book an extra night at the beginning of your stay.
HOTEL, CHECK-OUT: rooms must be left in the morning (the exact time will be provided by the hotel). Supplements for late check-out amount to 50% of an extra night if you check-out by 6pm, and to a full extra night if you check-out after that
HOTEL / ITINERARY, CHANGES: The Organizing Body reserves the right to substitute the itinerary and/or the hotels to alternative of a similar or superior category in the event of unplanned circumstances, and if the safe and normal proceeding of the tour is threatened. Furthermore, when in the impossibility for all of the travellers to stay at the same hotel, the group will be split amidst several hotels of the same category.
TIMETABLES: departure times are indicative, depending on the number of hotel pick-ups per day. Tourists are kindly asked to be in the lobby at the indicated time. Depending on which hotel you are staying at, you may have to wait 15 minutes or more. The return times are indicative and subject to change depending on a number of factors, including traffic and duration of the visits.
PUNCTUALITY: you are advised to be punctual. No refund is issued to passengers failing to meet at designated time.

Flight to Medan (not included): it is possible to arrive at any time., on the last day, flight from Medan (not included): book a flight leaving after 14.00, the timetable in the travel plan is indicative. Camera and binoculars. An extra fee will be charged by the Forestry Department for the use of a video camera or portable camera, amounting to £15.00 for a mini video camera or portable camera and £5.00 for a camera, up to the power point or forest, as it will be considered promotional material. These fees must be paid directly to Park officials and are non-refundable. Lightweight clothing (including long trousers and long-sleeved shirt), sun hat, secure straps for sunglasses or prescription glasses (if worn), comfortable sturdy walking shoes and rain poncho.
